What you need — and what you don't
You need: the insert or the book for the new year. Everything else is optional.
You usually don't need: a new cover, new registers, new accessories. Those last considerably longer than a year.
Worth it every few years: fresh Index tabs (5.50 €) when the old ones are worn out.

Is there a subscription for the yearly reorder?
There are subscription options for the pads. For calendar inserts, most people deliberately reorder once a year — partly because the format can change over the years. If you'd like a reminder, a short email to service@weekview.de is all it takes.
How long does a leather cover last?
With daily use, many years — that's exactly the point of the system. The cover is the investment, the year set is the consumable.
Can I switch formats without buying everything again?
Within the same punching system, yes. Switching between Filofax and X17 needs a new cover, because the systems are mechanically different.
What happens to the old year sets?
Most people keep them — as a record of when which project ran. For the self-employed that's often more useful than expected.
