Which weekly planner suits you?

Format, time span, layout — three decisions separate the planner you've stopped opening by March from the one that carries you through the whole year. This page takes them off your hands, one by one.

The short answer

Three planners cover almost everything

If you plans on the go and takes lots of notes, go for the compact note 2027 — A6+, large notes section, 22.95 €.

If you thinks in quarters professionally, go for the Business Planner 2027 — A5+, weekly and quarterly planning, 34.95 €.

If you wants to start as early as October, go for the compact extended 2027 — 18 months from October 2026 to March 2028, 26.95 €.

The family in 2027

A system, five formats

All weekview planners work with the same logic: the week on a double page, ABC priorities, the quarterly view. They differ in format, time span and depth — not in thinking. Switch once and you never have to relearn.

What matters

Six criteria that really count

Paper weight and ribbon markers are in every brochure. These six points decide whether you're still using the planner in June.

01

Format before features

An A4 planner with a perfect layout is useless if it stays at home. First decide where you plan — then what goes in it.

02

A week at a glance

Daily planners split the week into seven separate parts and the overview is lost. A week on a double page shows immediately where there's still air and where things are piling up.

03

Priorities instead of lists

A to-do list without a ranking gets worked through until the day ends — not until the important things are done. ABC priorities force the decision before the week makes it for you.

04

The notes section is not an extra

Most notes happen between two appointments. If they have no home in the planner, you grab a slip of paper — and lose it. Look at how many pages are genuinely free.

05

Choosing the time span honestly

The calendar year only fits if your life restarts in January. Degree courses, school years and many fiscal years don't — 18 months save you the second purchase in summer.

06

Binding and paper

Thread binding lets the planner lie flat; otherwise you're writing against the curve. With paper, the surface matters more than the weight — smooth paper prevents pressure marks.

The underrated question

12 or 18 months?

Most people buy a yearly planner in December and discover in September that the last pages stay empty while the next semester is already running.

The reason is simple: hardly any life follows the calendar year. Degree courses and school start in autumn, many companies run their books from July or October. A planner that starts in January is a poor fit from day one.

An 18-month planner costs a few euros more — and covers two turns of the year instead of forcing you to buy again mid-year.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about buying a planner

When should I buy the planner for 2027?

The 12-month planners for 2027 are available from late summer 2026; the 18-month editions start as early as October 2026. If you want a seamless start in January, buy in November or December — popular versions regularly sell out around the turn of the year.

A6+ or A5+ — which format is better?

There is no better format, only a better-fitting one. A6+ is roughly postcard-sized and fits jacket pockets and handbags. A5+ offers a good twice the writing space per day and mostly stays on the desk.

Rule of thumb: if you take the planner with you daily, choose A6+. If you write more than five lines a day, A5+.

Is paper worth it alongside the digital calendar?

For appointments the digital calendar is superior — reminders, invitations, syncing. For planning it's paper: the week on a double page shows connections a screen never displays at once, and handwriting forces decisions instead of just pushing tasks around.

Most of our customers use both: appointments digitally, priorities and the weekly review on paper.

What sets weekview apart from other weekly planners?

Most calendars are date grids: date, lines, done. weekview planners come with a planning system — ABC priorities, quarterly planning, annual goals and a weekly review are anchored in the layout, not added as a supplement.

Add to that production in Germany, thread binding and one consistent system across all formats: switch from A6+ to A5+ and there's nothing to relearn.

Can I reorder inserts instead of buying a new book every year?

Yes. For Filofax punching there are the Business inserts A5 2027 and personal inserts 2027; for the X17 system, the A5 X17 Business and compact booklets. Cover and registers stay, only the year set is swapped — cheaper and more resource-friendly.

How fast will the planner arrive?

Within Germany we usually deliver in one to three working days with DHL, tracking included. From a 20 € order value you can pick a free reward. And if the planner isn't right after all: 14-day right of return.
