Conventional wall calendars think in monthly columns — and cut through every week that runs across a change of month. weekview does it differently and consistently uses the ISO 8601 week logic.

The rule is simple: a week belongs to the month in which more than three of its days fall. That way weeks always stand as closed blocks and are never torn apart by a month boundary.

Combined with the Global Week Code (GWC) this puts an end to calendar week chaos and gives you intuitive, month-based orientation for your entire year of planning.

The ISO 8601 week logic

A week belongs to the month in which more than three of its days fall. That keeps every week a single connected block — so you stop planning around month boundaries and start planning along your actual working rhythm.

The Global Week Code

The GWC gives every week a unique, month-based identifier. Instead of having to look up „Wk 31“, you see straight away which month you are in and which week within it — which makes arrangements in the team unambiguous.

Large format and desktop

What does ISO 8601 week logic mean in practice?

A week is assigned to the month in which more than three of its seven days fall. A week running from 29 January to 4 February therefore belongs to February — and appears there as a complete block instead of being split across two monthly columns.

What does the Global Week Code stand for?

The GWC names every week uniquely and in relation to its month. That means nobody in the team has to look up which month „Wk 31“ falls in.

How is the wall planner fixed to the wall?

With hanging rails — either with adhesive pads and no drilling, or with screws. The matching rails are listed under Boards.
