The metamorphic ink in FriXion pens turns invisible from around 65 °C. The friction heat from the rubber tip at the end of the pen is enough — no eraser crumbs, and the paper stays intact. Erasable ink is not, however, document-proof.

Yes. For the FriXion range there are refills in a set of 3 and in a Family Pack of six, plus the metal 0.7 refill for Zone, LX Ball and Clicker. For the V-Board Master S there are refill cartridges — a cartridge costs far less than a new pen. All of it under Refills.

How does erasable ink work?

The metamorphic ink in FriXion pens turns invisible at around 65 °C . The friction heat from the rubber tip at the end of the pen is enough — there are no eraser crumbs and the paper stays intact. Erasable ink is, however, not document-proof.

What is the difference between erasable and wipeable?

Erasable refers to paper: the ink disappears with heat. Wipeable (non-permanent) refers to smooth surfaces such as whiteboards and coated wall planners: the ink comes off with a sponge. That is what the Whiteboard pens are for.

Can I buy refills?

Yes. For the FriXion range there are refills in packs of three and in a Family Pack of six, plus the 0.7 metal refill for Zone, LX Ball and Clicker. For the V-Board Master S there are refill cartridges — a cartridge costs considerably less than a new pen. It is all under Refills.

What are the stickers for?

The round organiser stickers come in five sizes from XS to XL, three sheets each.
