A planner still in its tube
plans nothing.

Between „ordered“ and „in use“ there is exactly one step: it has to go on the wall. Two metal rails, a few sticky dots – and a magnet so the pen stays beside it. No drilling, no residue.

Hang it. Swap it. Drill nothing.
Why a rail and not a nail?

Because the planner will change one day.

A nail holds exactly one sheet and leaves a hole behind. A hanging rail holds every format from A5 to A1 and lets you swap it: the half-year that is done comes off – the next one goes up, without refixing anything.

The rail pair works as a team: the upper rail carries, the lower one holds the sheet down so it does not ripple or curl. That is why there are always two in the box.

It is fixed with Gecko adhesive tape – two strips per rail, removable without residue. If you are allowed to drill, the holes are already in the rail. And because the metal is magnetic , a magnet sticks to it too.

Four ways to fix something

  • Hanging rail – for planners and boards that get swapped.
  • Pinits – repositionable sticky dots for smooth surfaces.
  • Magnet with counterpart – makes a sponge or pen box magnetic.
  • Pen holder – self-adhesive, so the pen stays with the board.

The rail in numbers

  • 450 × 30 × 1 mm per rail, two of them in a pair.
  • Metal rail, grey-painted; 2 × 100 g.
  • 2 Gecko adhesive strips per rail, screws optional.
The rail up close

Four spots. One motion.

This is how a planner hangs on the hanging rail pair. Tap a spot or pick it from the list.

The upper rail carries

It takes the weight. The planner is hooked in from above and rests with its punched holes on the notches – no clamping, no clips, no tools.

Notches and screw holes

Those small tabs are the hook-in notches: the punching of a punched planner or board slots straight into them. The round holes next to them are for screws – if you would rather not use adhesive, screw the rail on.

The lower rail holds

It carries no weight; it holds the sheet down so it stays flat against the wall. Without it, a large sheet bows forward and curls up over time.

Format-independent

Everything fits between the two rails, from A5 to A1 – a six-month planner, a board, two small sheets side by side. That is why the rail outlives the planner it holds.

Why is it called 3.0? That is the generation of the rail – in a few places the description text still says 2.0. It means the same product: the current metal hanging rail pair measuring 2 × 45 cm.

What is in this world

Four items. No wall plug.

Three of them hold the planner, one holds the pen – and all four come off again.

Repositionable helpers for smooth surfaces: whiteboard, laminated wall planner, glass. The tab is made by folding a corner over – so they peel off easily and can be reused many times.

Magnet with counterpart

The round magnet comes with a self-adhesive counterpart – which makes almost anything magnetic: the sponge sticks to the board instead of sitting in the drawer, the marker parks next to the planner.

Four reasons against the wall plug

Swappable, trace-free, magnetic, flat

A hole in the wall is drilled in seconds. But after that exactly one format fits into it – forever.

Swappable

The planner is free to go

Half-year over, board full, new year: what hangs there gets replaced, not the fixing. One rail outlives many planners.

A5 to A1
Trace-free

No hole, no glue mark

Two Gecko adhesive strips per rail hold fast, yet come off again without residue. Exactly what a rented flat, an office and a glass door need.

Magnetic

The metal joins in

The rail is magnetic. Together with the self-adhesive magnet, sponge, marker or pen box park right beside it – not in the drawer.

Flat

Holding it down counts

A large sheet bows forward if it only hangs at the top. That is why there are two rails: the upper one carries, the lower one holds the sheet against the wall.

The piece that carries it all

Two rails. Every format.

It is the most expensive piece in this world and the only one you buy just once.

On the wall in ten minutes

Line it up once. Then never again.

Four steps – and the longest of them is measuring twice.

01
Choose the spot
Somewhere you walk past every day – not wherever there happens to be space. A planner in the storage room plans nothing, however perfectly it hangs.
02
Measure the gap
The gap between the upper and lower rail is the height of the sheet. Measure it once properly and mark it in pencil – after that every sheet hangs straight.
03
Stick it or screw it
Two Gecko adhesive strips per rail onto a clean, grease-free surface – or screw through the existing holes if you are allowed to drill.
04
Hang a pen with it
The Pen holder sticks on next to the planner, or the Magnet holds marker and sponge on the rail. Without a pen the surface stays empty.

„What you cannot see, you do not plan.“

Who takes what

Three walls, three solutions

The question is rarely „what holds best“, but „what am I even allowed to do here“.

Rented flat

„I am not allowed to drill.“

Two Gecko adhesive strips per rail hold the planner on the wall – and come off without residue when you move out. No hole, no filler, no discussion.

Fridge

„Nothing sticks to that.“

It does: Pinits are repositionable sticky dots for smooth, solid surfaces. They hold laminated planners and boards on the fridge, a glass door or a cupboard front – and can be moved.

Office

„The pen has gone walkabout again.“

A pen holder for 1.90 € or a magnet with counterpart solves that for good. The sponge hangs on the board, the marker beside it – and nobody goes hunting any more.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about mounting

Do I have to drill for the hanging rail?
No. Each rail comes with 2 Gecko adhesive strips that come off again without residue. If you would rather screw, the holes are already in the rail – both options are covered.
Why are there two rails?
The upper one carries the weight, the lower one holds the sheet down. Without the lower one a large sheet bows forward and curls up over time. That is why a hanging rail pair always contains two.
Which formats fit between the rails?
Everything from A5 to A1. Each rail measures 450 × 30 × 1 mm and weighs 100 g. The gap between the upper and lower rail sets the sheet height – you decide it when you mount them.
Is the rail called 2.0 or 3.0 now?
The item is called Hanging rail pair 4.0. Some older description texts still say Hanging rail 2.0 – it means the same product: the current metal rail pair measuring 2 × 45 cm.
What are Pinits?
Repositionable sticky dots for smooth, solid surfaces – whiteboard, laminated wall planner, glass, cupboard door. The tab is made by folding a corner over, so they peel off easily, can be repositioned and reused many times.
What is the magnet with counterpart for?
The round magnet (Ø 1.5 cm) comes with a self-adhesive counterpart. You stick the counterpart onto the sponge or pen box and put the magnet on the board or the rail – and both stay exactly where you need them.
Do Pinits hold on a wall too?
Only on smooth, solid surfaces. They will not hold on woodchip paper, plaster or wallpaper – that is what the hanging rail is for, fixed with Gecko adhesive tape or screws.
And if the planner is punched?
Then it hangs straight in the notches. Kanban Board and Dotted Board in A1 landscape, plus the Plus-punched six-month planners, are delivered precision-punched and need no extra work.

Hang it first. Then plan.

The rail pair costs 29.90 € and outlives many a planner. If all you need is one sticky dot, you are in from 1.90 € onwards.
