A week is too short for a project, a year too long to stay with it. The quarter sits in between: three months in which a goal can be set, tracked and reached.

Neither board carries a date. You fill in the quarter and the months yourself, which is why the same sheet works for Q1 just as well as for Q4 – and in any year.
