The year
that goes with you.

The same weekly structure as the A4 – just folded down to 16.5 × 10.5 cm. That puts the whole year into your diary, your folder and your side pocket. And if you plan beyond the turn of the year, there's a version with 18 months.

What is an A5 year planner?

The whole year, folded.

A diary shows you the week you're in. What it doesn't show is where that week sits in the year. That's exactly what the A5 year planner adds – a flat sheet you tuck inside that opens out to show the whole year.

It is built around calendar weeks rather than months: all seven days of a week sit together, and the first week of a month is defined to ISO 8601 – the week that contains the first Thursday.

And because planning rarely starts on 1 January, there's also a version covering 18 months: from October 2025 to March 2027.

On every A5 sheet

  • All calendar weeks of the period, numbered right through.
  • Quarter and year colours for quick orientation.
  • Week markers w1 to w5 on both edges.
  • Public holidays, nationwide and regional, by name.
  • Moon phases – full moon and new moon.

Three time frames

  • One year – the year planner 2027, single or in a set.
  • 18 months – October 2025 to March 2027.
  • One year for several people – the holiday and project planner as a concertina.
The sheet close up

Eight spots. Twelve months.

This is the front of the 2027 year planner in A5 – January to June. The back shows July to December, laid out the same way. Tap a spot or pick one from the list.

Year marker and year colour

Top left you'll find the year with its colour dot. Every edition carries its own colour – stack several sheets and the dot tells you instantly which year you're holding.

The month columns

Every month is a column, every day a row. The front holds January to June, the back July to December – one turn is all it takes for the second half of the year.

The large week numbers

The pale numbers in the background are the calendar weeks. They run right through the columns, so a week stays one connected unit – even across the change of month.

Public holidays by name

Public holidays appear by name in the grid – New Year's Day, Good Friday, Ascension Day. Regional holidays carry a number that refers to the federal states concerned at the bottom.

Colour instead of searching

The colour blocks separate the quarters from one another. January to March sits in a different tone from April to June – your eye finds the period before your head reads the date.

Week markers w1 to w5

Along the left and right edges you'll find the markers w1 to w5 – the week within the month. Handy if you plan in rhythms: first week for planning, last week for wrapping up.

Week-optimised

The seal stands for the way the whole sheet is built: the calendar week is the guiding unit, not the month. If you think in weeks, you'll find your way here without converting anything.

Legend and holiday footnotes

At the bottom you'll find the footnotes for the regional public holidays, grouped by federal state, plus the legend: full moon and new moon as circles, and the colour dots for the years.

Why a sheet and not a booklet? Because a booklet only shows the page you're on. A folded sheet opens out once – and then the whole period is right there.

Four things a diary can't do

Overview, distance, autumn, weight

A diary is made for the day. For the year you need a surface.

The overview

Where in the year am I?

The week you have open says nothing about how much of the year is still to come. The sheet tucked inside answers that in one movement.

all calendar weeks on one sheet
The distance

How far away is that?

„End of March“ sounds close, until you see the eleven weeks in between. Laid out side by side, a feeling turns into a number.

to ISO 8601
The autumn

And next year?

From October you're planning into the following year – and that's exactly where a single-year sheet stops, just as it gets interesting. The 18-month version keeps going.

The weight

What do I carry?

A second calendar in your bag is one too many. A folded sheet weighs nothing, takes up no space and sits in your diary exactly where it's needed.

The sheet for your pocket

Tuck in. Open out. Know.

One sheet, folded to postcard size – and still a complete overview of the year.

Set up in a minute

Fold it once. Always with you.

An A5 sheet needs no space – but it does need a fixed place. Four things help.

01
Tuck it into your diary
The fold is positioned so the sheet fits A5 and A6 formats. The 18-month version is made for A6 diaries specifically.
02
Always in the same place
Inside the front cover or at the back – as long as it's always the same. An overview you have to hunt for doesn't get used.
03
Half-year facing up
The front holds the first half of the period, the back the second. Put the side you're currently planning in face up – you'll turn it over once a year.
04
Think ahead in autumn
If you're planning into next year from October, reach for the 18-month version. It runs to March 2027 – so the turn of the year sits in the middle of the sheet instead of at its edge.

„Open it out – and the year is there.“

Who chooses A5

Three pockets, three reasons

Not because A5 is smaller – but because the overview has to be where the commitment is made.

On the move

„Does that date even work?“

Say yes in a meeting without seeing the year and you end up saying yes twice. The sheet tucked into your planner shows in a second what is already booked the week before and the week after.

In the diary

„Where in the year am I right now?“

The week you have open doesn't answer that. The year planner adds exactly the layer your diary is missing – without carrying a second book.

In the team

„Who's off when?“

The concertina opens out to 84 × 20 cm and folds straight back down: rows for names, columns for the year. Staff and shift planning that fits in a drawer.

The case no year calendar solves

The turn of the year falls right in the middle of your planning.

A single-year sheet ends on 31 December. But planning for the coming year doesn't start in January, it starts in October – when holiday requests go in, budgets are set and appointments are pushed into the following year.

That's exactly why there's the 18M year planner extended: it runs from October 2025 to March 2027 and so covers both autumns. The turn of the year sits in the middle of the sheet – not on its edge.

It's built like the other year planners, with the same unambiguous assignment of week to month to ISO 8601 – and a precise fit for A6 diaries.

Oct 2025The sheet begins – and with it the planning for 2026.
Dec / JanThe first turn of the year falls in the middle of the sheet. December and January sit side by side.
FrontOctober 2025 to June 2026 – nine months on one side.
BackJuly 2026 to March 2027 – just turn it over.
Mar 2027The sheet runs into the second spring – long enough to line up the next year's sheet without rushing.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the A5 year planner

How big is the sheet?
Folded it measures 16.5 × 10.5 × 0.2 cm – roughly postcard size. Unfolded it's an A5 sheet. The holiday and project planner is a separate product in concertina format and measures 84 × 20 cm when opened out.
Will it fit my diary?
The fold is positioned so the sheet slips into A5 and A6 formats. The 18M year planner extended is described as fitting A6 diaries precisely.
What's the difference from the A4 version?
The layout is identical – weeks instead of months, the same colours, the same holidays and public holidays. A4 is larger and made to lie open on your desk. A5 is made for your pocket. To the A4 version
What does 18M extended mean?
Eighteen months instead of twelve: from October 2025 to March 2027. That puts the turn of the year in the middle of the sheet instead of at its edge – handy when you start planning the following year from autumn onwards.
What does „week-optimised“ mean?
The sheet is built around calendar weeks, not months. All seven days of a week sit together – even across the change of month. The first week of a month is defined to ISO 8601: the week containing the first Thursday.
Are school holidays and public holidays already marked in?
Public holidays are printed by name, nationwide and regional, along with the moon phases showing full moon and new moon. School holidays are not pre-printed – you'll find those in the School holiday planner A4.
Why is there a 3-piece set?
Because one sheet is rarely enough: one on the desk, one in the diary, one in the kitchen. The 3-piece set comes in colour – and the colours help you find your way around the grid.
What is the holiday and project planner as a concertina?
A planner for several people: rows for names, columns for the year. It is folded as a concertina and measures, opened out, 84 × 20 cm – staff and shift planning that folds back up again.
Are there any reviews of the A5 sheets?
There are no reviews for the A5 products in the shop yet. The identically built A4 year planner has a five-star review.
Ready to tuck it in?

Fold it once. Then the year comes with you.

The sheet arrives folded, weighs nothing and is yours from 1.50 € – even better value in the 3, 5 and 10-piece sets.
