The part that plans nothing
The top third belongs to the picture. A different panoramic photo every week, plus a Bible verse. It is the reason the calendar stays standing, even when there is nothing to write in.
Where you are right now
The month sits on the left, and below it in large type the calendar week. At weekview the week is the basic unit – which is why it is set larger than the date.
What comes next
To the right of the week number sit the coming three weeks as narrow fields. Anything already fixed but not yet due goes there – and it is right back in front of you when you turn the page.
Seven days above the binding
Just above the ring binding runs the narrow bar with the daily dates – the bridge between the picture above and the lines below.
The essentials first
The three large letters stand for the weekly priorities: A the essential, B the important, C everything else. Start the week this way and you sort once instead of re-sorting every day.
Sunday to Sunday
Below that the days sit side by side – each with several lines for appointments. Sunday appears at the start and at the end of the week, because the weekview week begins on Sunday.
Why landscape? Because a whole week should sit side by side without any page turning. At 29.8 cm wide the calendar fits in front of your screen without taking over the desk – and folded away it lies flat.
