One day.
A whole double page.
The DayBook A6+ is the undated daily planner alongside your weekly planner. To-dos on the left, the timeline in the middle, notes and reflection on the right – worked through from left to right, with a tick box for carrying things over.
The daily companion alongside the weekly planner.
It does not replace a calendar. It is the addition for those days when a single week line is not enough: project days, workshops, seminars, exam periods, moving days.
Because it is undated , there is no pressure. You start whenever you want and only use the days you actually need. If it sits untouched for two weeks, nothing is lost – unlike a dated daily diary.
The format is the same as the weekview compact: A6+ · 12 × 18 cm. The two stack neatly and travel together in the same bag.
On every daily double page
- Date and weekday – the week always in view as a bar.
- Motto of the day – one sentence of focus before the appointments arrive.
- To-dos for exactly this day.
- Time blocks from 7 am to 8 pm for appointments and time blocking.
- Info & notes in the dot grid.
- “Keep in view” for follow-ups.
- Reflection – verdict on the day, gratitude, lessons learned.
- Carry-over tick – done, or back into the week?
One double page. Your whole day.
Eight areas, worked through from left to right. Tap one – or pick it from the list.
Date & week
Top left you enter the day and calendar week. Above it sits the week bar from Monday to Sunday – so you can always see where this day falls in the week.
Motto of the day
One sentence before the appointments arrive: motto of the day, weekly goal, focus. The small decision that gives the day a direction.
Keep in view
The strip at the top right takes in whatever is not for today but must not get lost – follow-ups, open replies, promises made. None of it has to go into the to-dos.
Carry over
The tick box in the margin. Done, or back into the week? One tick is enough – so nothing drops out of sight as you turn the pages.
To-dos
The tasks for exactly this day – not the weekly list but an extract from it. If you work with A/B/C, this is where the A tasks go.
Time blocks
The timeline from 7 am to 8 pm, right in the middle of the double page. Appointments, blocks and buffers sit where they belong – and you see at a glance what is still free.
Info & notes
The large area on the right in dot grid. Jottings, results, thoughts, work in progress – everything that otherwise ends up on scraps of paper and disappears. The pages are numbered, so you can cross-reference.
Reflection
Bottom right, the close of the day: verdict on the day, gratitude, lessons learned. Two minutes that turn a day worked through into a day reviewed.
One book for 92 full days.
The introduction and the overview at the front, the daily double pages in the middle, the open section at the back – and every page is numbered.
Introduction to daily management
A short explanation of how time blocks, priorities and reflection work together – so the first daily page does not stay empty.
Overview of days & highlights
A list where you record which day is on which page. That way you can still find months later what happened on a particular day.
92 daily double pages
One day across two pages: to-dos on the left, the timeline from 7 am to 8 pm in the middle, notes and reflection on the right.
Eight areas per day
Date with week bar, motto of the day, “keep in view”, carry-over tick, to-dos, time blocks, info & notes, reflection.
5 notes pages in dot grid
Deliberately unstructured – for smaller projects, collections or questions you keep coming back to.
Numbered pages
From any daily page you can point to a notes page – and back again. That turns loose notes into a reference work.
Day, week, quarter, year
weekview does not plan in days. The engine is the week, the frame is the quarter. The DayBook is the lowest level – and that is exactly why it is optional: you bring it out when a day needs more space than the week line allows.
The day
One double page when things get tight. Undated, so only when you need it.
DayBook A6+The quarter
Thirteen weeks as one stage: set goals, place milestones, review at the end.
Business PlannerThe year
Yearly and life goals, overviews, review. The frame that holds everything else.
All plannersOne book. Two equipment levels.
The content is identical in both – the Plus version brings the accessories with it.

Writing things down is easy. Finding them again is the system.
A daily book is only useful if you can still find weeks later what was discussed on a particular day. The DayBook has three simple means for that.
“No scraps of paper get lost.”
Three people who open the DayBook
Not every day – but on the days that would otherwise get tight.
“A lot ties together today.”
Six appointments, two decisions, work to hand over in between. The timeline in the middle holds the sequence, results and promises gather on the right. In the evening the carry-over tick shows what has to go back into the week.
“I take notes all day long.”
Workshop, training course, conference. The dot grid on the right takes your jottings without stuffing the weekly planner full. The numbered pages make cross-references possible later on.
“Only when it is really needed.”
Moving house, exam period, year-end accounts. Because the DayBook is undated, in between it simply sits on the shelf – and is back when the next intense phase arrives.
Those who use it, use it deliberately
Two reviews, 4.5 out of 5 stars on average.
Some days there is simply a lot on, and then the weekly diaries I prefer feel a bit cramped. Undated, so no obligation to fill something in every day – it is to hand when needed, and no scraps of paper get lost. The layout with one day per double page is exactly right: from left to right the to-dos, then the timeline, notes and results on the right.
A brilliant help in everyday life, small and compact – it even fits in a jacket. I would like it to have more than just five pages for your own content; I use those pages for smaller projects during the year, so a few more would be perfect.
