A notebook is only as good as what you write on. For every weekdori we use Gmund Papier Blocker at 80 g — a pure white fine paper that does three things cheaper paper fails at.
Fineliner, gel pen, fountain pen — nothing bleeds through to the back. You can use both sides of every sheet without the previous note showing through.
The surface is smooth enough for the nib to glide and grippy enough that it does not slip. You notice it from the very first word.
The clean, pure white tone makes ink look strong. Together with the rounded cover corners, that is what creates the premium overall impression.
