This is how a FriXion is built – as a four-colour pen and as a single-colour one. Pick a pen, tap a spot, and read what it does.
One eraser tip for all four colours
The same rubber tip as on the single-colour FriXion – it removes any of the four inks. Rub, warm, carry on writing: no switching grip, no second pen.
Four sliders, four colours
Each slider brings its own refill forward: black, blue, red and green. If you colour-code your planner – appointment, task, personal, urgent – this is the one pen you need.
Stays on your planner
The clip holds the Ball 4 on the cover edge or in the pen loop. Thanks to the click mechanism there is no cap to lose.
4 Colors, 0.5 mm
The print says what is inside: four colours, each with a 0.5 mm ball. The line stays fine enough for narrow weekly columns and small daily boxes.
A little thicker than a single pen
Four refills need room, so the barrel is chunkier and sits more solidly in your hand. The matt grip zone still doesn't slip on the third page.

Each of the four refills can be replaced on its own – empty never means finished. The matching refills are listed below.
The rubber tip at the end
It doesn't erase, it warms. The friction generates more than 65 °C, and the ink turns invisible. That is why no debris is left on the paper and the spot can be written on again immediately.
The barrel
Slim enough for your planner, with a visible ink level on the transparent models. The weekview edition has a white barrel, the Sweet Paradise Edition a patterned one.
Refill instead of throw away
Every FriXion can be kept going with a refill . That is why refills have a category of their own with us – a pen lasts for years.
0.7 mm ball, 0.4 mm line
The Ball tip measures 0.70 mm, which gives a line of roughly 0.40 mm wide. A fine line also means less ink used, so you write for longer.
Where your hand rests
On the Ball and Clicker models the front section is knurled or rubberised. If you plan a lot, you notice the difference by the third page.
On your planner, not in your bag
The clip holds the pen on the cover edge or in the pen loop. On the Clicker models the cap gives way to a click mechanism.
And what if the writing comes back? It can – in severe cold the ink becomes visible again. And the other way round, it also disappears if the planner sits behind a windscreen in summer. For anything that has to stay, use a permanent marker.
