weekview 10/20-Year Chronicle A2 wipeable Plus

Ten or twenty years on a single A2 sheet (42 × 60 cm): two ten-year timelines, each year split into quarters. Undated, wipeable – with stickers, marker and Pinits in the Plus set.

A whole decade in a single view

A calendar shows what is coming. A chronicle records what was. And only when ten years stand side by side do the connections become visible: which phases repeat, how long change really took, what has stayed the same for years.

The chronicle is undated. You can start with the current year, fill in the past decade retrospectively or begin with the year your company was founded.

How the sheet is laid out

Running across the full width are two timelines, one above the other, each with ten year columns. If you want to record ten years, use one of them – if you want twenty, fill both. Hence the name.

Each year column is split into the quarters Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4 – exactly the right resolution: fine enough to place an event, broad enough to still take in ten years at a glance – and quarters are emotionally linked to the season in a way a date never is.

Each timeline has a row at the top for the year, below it the key facts area and then a large space for themes – highlights, people, insights.

At a glance

  • Period of your choice: 10 or 20 years
  • Two timelines, each with ten year columns
  • Each year split into Q1 to Q4 sections
  • Row for key facts, large area for themes
  • Undated – you enter the years yourself
  • Wipeable surface for non-permanent marker pens

Included in the Plus set

  • Sticker sheets with hundreds of symbols – travel, moving house, birth, graduation, sport, work
  • Non-permanent marker for the wipeable surface
  • weekview Pinits for mounting – no drilling
  • Pen holder clip for the marker
  • An empty chronicle stays empty – which is why the tools come with it

Ideal for

  • Life planning – the most honest look at your own decade
  • Company history – founding, products, locations, crises
  • Project history spanning several years
  • Onboarding: explains more in five minutes than any document
  • Walls where A1 would be too big

Format & dimensions

  • DIN A2 landscape
  • 42 × 60 cm
  • Fits narrower walls too
  • Printed on one side, wipeable
  • Needs around 62 × 45 cm of free wall space

Tip for getting started

Working backwards is easier. Enter the years first, then the hard key facts – house moves, job changes, births, company launches. The themes area then fills up almost by itself. For everything else: symbols instead of sentences, they take up less space and are legible from three metres away.

Frequently asked questions about the 10/20-Year Chronicle

Why is it called the „10/20-Year Chronicle“?

Because the sheet carries two timelines one above the other, each covering ten years. If you want to record ten years, use one of them. If you want twenty, fill both. One product, two time spans.

Why quarters instead of months or dates?

Because over a span of ten years quarters are the right resolution: precise enough to place an event – and tied to the season, which makes remembering easier. Nobody recalls an exact date five years on anyway, but the quarter they do.

Is a year printed on the sheet?

No, the chronicle is undated – you enter the years yourself. So you can start today, add a past year retrospectively or begin with a founding year.

What does „Plus“ mean?

The Plus version does not come as a bare sheet, but with the accessories you need to fill it in: Sticker sheets with hundreds of symbols, a non-permanent marker with clip and the weekview Pinits for mounting.

What can I write with?

With a non-permanent marker pen (e.g. Lumocolor) – it wipes off dry and without residue. Permanent markers do not belong on the surface, they can leave residue behind. A suitable marker is included with the Plus set.

How is the chronicle mounted?

With the weekview Pinits on smooth, solid surfaces – no drilling, no frame and repositionable at any time.

What is the difference to the Year Chronicle?

The time span and the resolution. The Year Chronicle shows one year in three levels: four quarters, twelve months and weeks 01 to 52. This chronicle here shows a whole decade – quarter by quarter instead of week by week.
