Reordering inserts: Keep the cover, swap the year set

A good leather cover lasts ten years. The calendar inside lasts twelve months. That's exactly what inserts are for — the cheaper and far more resource-friendly way to start fresh every year.

The cycle

How a planning year works

Once you're in the system, you repeat the same four steps every year — the rest stays.

01

Autumn: order the new insert

From late summer, next year's inserts are available. Order in October and you can plan the coming year while the current one is still running.

02

Turn of the year: re-file

The new insert goes into the cover, the old one goes on the shelf. Registers, bookmarks and accessories stay where they are.

03

Transfer, don't copy

Only what's still open moves across: running projects, birthdays, open plans. The rest stays in the old year set — that's the built-in decluttering effect.

04

Archive

The old year set is a work record: when which project ran, how long things really took. For the self-employed, often worth more than you'd think.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about reordering

Do the 2027 inserts fit my old cover?

If the punching matches, yes. The business inserts are made for the common A5 Filofax punching, the personal inserts for A6. If you're unsure, a photo by email to service@weekview.de will sort it out.

When should I order the 2027 insert?

They're available from late summer 2026. If you want to keep planning seamlessly, order in October or November — then the new year can be planned before it begins.

Is it worth it compared with a bound book?

Price-wise the two are close. The insert's advantage is the cover that stays — and the option to swap notes and calendar parts separately. The book's advantage is robustness without rings.

Can I reorder the notes section and calendar separately?

In the X17 system yes, there every booklet is separate. The punched inserts include the planning tools and notes section.
