The difference
An appointment says when where You are. A task says what what You want to achieve. Anyone who only administers appointments is busy – but not necessarily effective. Time management is not appointment scheduling ("but I've got Outlook").
Tasks before appointments
Appointments are subordinate to tasks. The weekly tasks first, then the appointments around them.
This is how You integrate appointments
On Sunday evening, transfer only the genuinely binding appointments from Your digital calendar into the week. The planner is the single source of truth for Your week; digital tools stay for reminders and shared appointments.
- Binding appointments → into the appointment column.
- Tasks → into the weekly priorities (A/B/C).
- Everything else → leave it out, don't enter it "just in case".
Why that makes things calmer
When the week is led by goals, You no longer chase from appointment to appointment. You decide what counts – and the appointments fit in. That is the difference between "being administered" and "leading".
