So what actually happened?
It is the question everyone asks in December – and nobody can answer in January. Most people remember the last month and not much else. Not because nothing happened, but because none of it was written down.
The Year Chronicle is the space for exactly that: the milestones and main themes of a year, sorted in time and visible on the wall. You do not fill it in at the end of the year, you fill it in as you go – and that is precisely why it is complete when the year ends.
Three zoom levels on one sheet
Right at the top sits the space for the year and the field for your annual themes – the things that stand above everything else.
Below that come four large fields for Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4, each in its own colour. Directly underneath run the twelve monthly columns from Jan to Dec – colour-matched to their quarter, so everything falls into place without a second thought.
Along the bottom edge runs the Week bar from 01 to 52 with an open grid area beneath it. That way every event goes exactly where it belongs: roughly in the quarter, more precisely in the month, exactly in the week.

Good to know
Paper means what is written stays written. At the end of the year the sheet is filed away and kept – and in five years' time it is the one thing no file on a hard drive can replace. If you would rather keep correcting and developing your chronicle as you go, choose the wipeable Plus version.

How is the sheet laid out?
In three levels: at the top the four quarter fields, below them the twelve monthly columns in the colour of their quarter, and right at the bottom the Week bar 01 to 52 with an open grid area. Plus a field for your annual themes at the very top.
Is a year printed on the sheet?
No, the chronicle is undated – you fill in the years yourself. So you can start today, catch up on a year that has already gone, or begin with the year your company was founded.
What can I write with?
This version is made of paper – it takes any pen: ballpoint, fineliner, pencil. There is no restriction to non-permanent markers here; that only applies to the wipeable versions. The flip side is that what you have written cannot be wiped away again – and that is exactly what makes it an archive.
Is the sheet wipeable?
No. This is the paper version: write on it, file it, keep it. If you want to correct and develop it as you go, choose the wipeable Plus version.
Will the sheet arrive with creases?
This version ships folded and therefore has fold lines. That keeps the packaging and the postage small – once on the wall, the sheet largely smooths out again after a few days.
How is the chronicle fixed to the wall?
With weekview Pinits on smooth, solid surfaces – no drilling, no frame, and repositionable at any time.
What is the difference to the 10-/20-Year Chronicle?
The time span. This chronicle shows one year, but right down to the week. The 10-/20-Year Chronicle shows a whole decade – every year to the quarter, in two ten-year timelines. Both are available wipeable.
