The week as your unit of measure
A day is too close up, a month too far away. That is why the compact note plans in weeks – each one on its own double page. On the left you will find the goals and motto for the week and your priorities based on the ABC system: A is what gets finished, B is what you work on, C is everything else. On the right sit the seven days, each with two columns – one for appointments, one for what follows from them.
Above every week runs a band showing the previous and the following week. So you always see what is coming your way without having to flick back and forth. And in the bottom left there is a quote – a small weekly pause in all the busyness.
The calendar starts as early as week 53 on 28 December 2026 and runs right through to 2 January 2028. So the turn of the year does not fall between two books.

From the year, through the quarter, into the week
The compact note carries your goals all the way down instead of letting them fade away on a single page. It starts with your 2027 goals for four areas of life – personal, family and friends, work, community and society. Right beside them sits the project overview: a grid spanning all 52 calendar weeks where you plot your projects with start, milestone, meeting, completion and deadline – including an outlook on the 2028 quarters.
Every quarter gets three pages of its own. On the plan your quarter pages you gather your themes and set a motto for the quarter. The quarterly overview spreads them across the weeks. And the quarterly monitor is the page most planners simply do not have: here you record nothing but facts – hours worked, training sessions, learning progress, how you are feeling – and after twelve weeks you see what actually happened instead of what was planned.
At the end, the book closes the loop: an annual review by area of life, a summary with six questions on strengths, weaknesses and relationships – and your goals for 2028, which you note down right here.

What period does the compact note 2027 cover?
The calendar starts with week 53 on 28 December 2026 and ends on 2 January 2028. The planner also includes year overviews for 2027 and 2028 as well as a date overview running from January 2027 to December 2028.
How is a week laid out?
Every week has a double page. On the left are goals and motto along with priorities A, B and C, plus a weekly quote and a dedicated field for Sunday. On the right, Monday to Friday each get two columns, with Saturday and Sunday below.
What is the quarterly monitor for?
This page is purely for recording facts – day by day or week by week. Important meetings, hours worked, regular activities, learning progress or how you are feeling, for example. That way you can see at the end of the quarter what actually took place.

Are school holidays included?
Yes. The holiday planner lists the school holidays for all 16 German federal states as well as the school and public holidays in Austria.
