Product information "Kanban Board A1h punched"
weekview Kanban Board A1h, punched
A grid that shows progress
The Kanban Board A1h carries no dates. It does not divide up time, it divides up the work: five columns side by side, eight rows one above the other – and an empty header above every column that you label yourself.
Classically the columns are called To Do, In Progress and Done. They could just as easily read project phases, weekdays or names. Because the headers are yours to fill in, the board adapts to the way you work – not the other way round.
A task travels visibly from left to right. In a stand-up that movement says more than three sentences: everyone in the room can see what is being worked on, what is stuck and what is finished.

Mounting tip
With the weekview hanging rail pair in grey lacquered metal the punched board is hung rather than taped up. It hangs crease-free, swaps for another board in seconds – and if you hang Kanban and Dotted next to each other, simply line both rails up at the same height.
Frequently asked questions about the Kanban Board A1h
How many columns does the board have?
Five columns and eight rows. Above every column sits an empty header that you label yourself – classically To Do, In Progress and Done, but project phases, weekdays or names work just as well.
Paper or wipeable – which suits me?
Wipeable is right when the picture changes constantly: hang it once, rewrite it as often as you like. Paper is right when there should be a record of what happened – one sheet per sprint or week, then torn off and filed. The paper set contains five sheets.
What do I write on the wipeable version with?
With a non-permanent marker pen. It wipes off dry and leaves nothing behind. Permanent markers do not belong on the surface – their marks can no longer be removed dry.
What does “punched” mean?
The board is delivered punched to fit the weekview hanging rail. It hangs straight away with no extra work – no frame, no screws, no tape on the board. Two nails or hooks will do just as well.
Does the Dotted Board fit alongside it?
Yes. The Dotted Board A1h has the same format and the same punching. The sprint on the left, the sketch on the right – both hang on the same rail at the same height.
Where is it made?
Made in Germany – the paper version as well as the wipeable one.
